    Skins find replacement for Sudfeld

A new quarterback is on his way to D.C.

According to Mike Garafolo of NFL.com, the Washington Redskins are set to sign quarterback Alek Torgersen to their practice squad after failing in their attempts to re-sign Nate Sudfeld. Torgersen was recently released from the Atlanta Falcons after signing as an undrafted rookie.

Standing 6'3'' and weighing in at 230 pounds, the former Penn star provides a big and athletic developmental project for the Redskins at quarterback. Torgersen is adept at running the read option, rushing for over 300 yards in each of his last two seasons for the Quakers. The Norwegian completed over 67-percent of his passes during the final two years of his collegiate career.

Torgersen was initially projected as a seventh-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.

So much for replacing Cousins with Sudfield.

Remember when the idiots in the front office were trial-ballooning Sudfield as a superior replacement to Cuz? Good times.....
