    rotoworld:

Eric Ebron (hamstring) is still missing Lions practice.

He's essentially been out with July 31. By all accounts, the Lions were counting on Ebron to take a big leap in his fourth NFL season after finishing top ten amongst tight ends in both catches and yards last year despite missing three games. At very least, the missed cap reps have cost Ebron chances to build red-zone chemistry with Matthew Stafford in practice.

He went down to Staffords house and practiced with him for a few dsys, just let the guy get healthy no rushing him back

I wish Ebron could stay healthy because him missing practice and these pre-season games will show in the regular season for a little bit.

    He's going to be rusty

this is great, he's the second coming of Stafford so why pay Stafford? I see what you're doing, Carlos!

    also:
Iím not wishing for Stafford to get hurt. But I always find it laughably ironic the way fate sometimes saves coaches and general managers from themselves. If Drew Bledsoe hadnít gotten hurt, Tom Brady probably wouldnít have won five Super Bowls. If Trent Green hadnít gotten hurt, Kurt Warner wouldnít be in the Hall of Fame. If Tony Romo hadnít gotten hurt, no one would know who Dak Prescott is.

And if Stafford doesn't get hurt, how will we ever see another 0-16 season?

24% voted Stafford as a top 5 QB in the NFL.

PROOF OF WHY ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO HAVE RATIONAL DISCUSSIONS WITH FANBOYS OF #9

Yet the majority voted him between the 5-10 range, almost 60%, which is where the majority of us also had him anyway. As for the official rankings... Mariota at 5? I like the guy but..... 5 already?

In terms of pure talent Stafford is top 5.

He drops out of that top 5 when you add in decision making, football IQ, and composure under pressure.

Oh my bad. I forgot thinking was illogical and frowned upon in this forum.

I saw on rotoworld that the Pats are looking to trade Kony Ealy. I wouldn't mind if the Lions tried to snag him for a 6th or 7th round pick.
