Kinda lame cause virtually all the stat leaders didn't have decent photos to use.

If there is any chance to give himself a punchers chance to win the job, this is it for Lynch. Don't have high expectations, just high hopes.

Lol that's funny. That's preseason for ya I guess.

Same. I have high hopes, but low expectations. The writing is on the wall for the competition. Only hope for Lynch is that he plays above average this week. Siemian will be average so if Lynch makes some plays and puts some points on the board, he can extend the competition into the 3rd preseason game. Fwiw, Joseph seemed completely unwilling to say that he'd pick a QB after this game. Mike Klis asked him if he'd have a decision next Monday, and VJ laughed at the notion.

Sounds like this was the first great day from Lynch since before pads went on. Apparently went 12/12 today. I'm not positive, but I think at least 1 TD as well.

Is that so? If you were the GM of the Broncos and we offered you Beathard for your so-called average Siemian straight up, would you accept it? Since I seen enough of him last season that I want him as my future QB of the Niners unless he is somehow beating for the starting job in open competition during the preseason. You get a higher drafted QB that was impressive last week.

Your call but you have to make your decision before today's preseason matchup or the offer is off the table. We will await your decision now as GM of the Broncos. Just think about it but remember that I do know special talent

Yup. Hear that it's the best day of camp for either QB.

I don't want to go as far as to say this is Lynch's "last chance" but....he damn well needs to show that potential that has been tagging along side of his description. Throwing the ball super duper far and running around aren't redeeming "sky is the limit" qualities.

Hit your targets. Run an offense. Look like a damn QB. Make legitimate plays.

Also, hearing that there is a legitimate possibility that McGovern can swing as a starting guard gets me quite excited.

They would be fully believing in the "best 5 starts" mantra. None of these guys would have any chemistry together regardless but that would definitely put the best 5 out there.

Too much of a hyperbole to say biggest game thus far in his pro career? Most epic game 2 of preseason ever!

Not sure how you can evaluate a QB when every play call is a throw 1-4 yards. But lynch totally missed the short right slant route on that last throw. Whoever that was, was wide open and had the length of the field in front of him.
