Mets trade Walker to Brewers along with Cash for PTBNL

Like I said in the Bruce trade, probably another RP prospect lol. Am sure the Mets didn't pick up any salary in this one either.

Well Granderson is the last one left. Hope they find him a good home.

For a guy like him I don't expect much, for the other guys? I expected better.

    Don't get your hopes up

Heard the Mets didn't want anything in return.
    They took on some salary

The Mets probably like that team option too much to deal him. Yeah, ironic for sure.

Twitter says the Mets are picking up some salary in the Walker trade. Don't know why they would do it here but not with Bruce or Reed.

Mets close to trading Neil Walker to Brewers

Too bad it's the brewers. Was holding out hope for Ike Davis to round out our relief crew.

    Don't worry. He's got this.

Cabby will be on the team next year, most likely.

He'd be a nice insurance policy for 2nd and 3rd, and a more than solid bat off the bench.

I could still see Reyes and Possibly Rene Rivera getting dealt along with Grandy. We will see.

If they bring Cabrera back it means he is the starting 3rd baseman. Something I'm not hoping for.

    Don't worry. He's got this.

I think it could also mean he's an insurance policy/solid bat off the bench.
