Was really hoping that we could hang onto this dude until he inevitably gets better, but when you are a playoff caliber team, you can't put your trust in a guy who is this unreliable

Yea this had to be done, he might become a great kicker one day but Licht's job could very be on the line this season. How can you trust a guy like that? This is the NFL your shouldn't be holding your breathe on extra points. I really like Licht and hope he's here for the foreseeable future but damn if that pick isn't a bad stain on his resume.

Baring a massive meltdown (like a 4-12 season), Licht's job is not in jeopardy, by any means. Less than 50% on 2nd round picks pan out. Overall, he has drafted very well!

In a lot of minds Licht should be getting an extension. He has found the cornerstones of our franchise going forward, Jameis, Evans, Kwon and Marpet . He's added them to our veteran playmakers, Gerald, Lavonte, Doug. We have young talent that looks like stars in the making, Hargreaves, Spence and Howard. There's the late or undrafted contributors, Brate, Pamphile and Humphries. The free agent acquisitions are at key positions and seem to fit really well, Ayers, Grimes, DeSean and Baker. Our depth has gotten better each year.

Not that much to complain about, the Aguayo pick, mid-late round failures like every GM, slightly overpaying some FA. He will be focusing on DE, CB and OL in the next draft and off-season. I see absolutely no reason to change the trajectory we are on.
