    Mike Trout

Is he the MVP? He is actually having his best season maybe ever in terms of on the field play but he has missed 40 plus games... He is not far from taking the war lead from Judge for batters either in 40 plus less games played.... As great as Judge has been mike trout has accumulated almost as much value in over 40 games less... Really think about that... If we are just going by the value a player brings how is anyone else MVP?

He's probably not sexy enough to win it.

    Chris Sale is my frontrunner.

Those 46 games missed are going to hurt Trout no matter how insane his numbers are.

Honestly as stupid as it is... I think trout is too boring to win it. Today's game is all about Power, power, power... he just doesn't have that same stigma that Judge has.

How sad is that? Possibly one of baseball's all-time great players could be considered boring. All because he's on the wrong team and/or doesn't have a cool slogan.

It's insane to me. This man does not get the recognition he deserves. I went to an LAA game when they came to town just to see him play in person. He went 0-4, but still.

I agree with you. But unfortunately it's the truth. When typical fans think "face of baseball" they just don't think Mike trout

Pretty much. And who gives a **** what the typical fan thinks? Especially when it comes to MVP.

Not quite sure what face of the game and personality has to do with MVP either.
