Mehhhh I'll need to see more out of Benenoch, not a huge Smith fan as a long term fix, he's definitely more short term IMO. But I did love Marpet and Sweezy together.

There's only 3 reasonable options if he misses time.
    1. D Smith, E Smith, Marpet, Sweezy, Pamphile
    2. Smith, Pamphile, Marpet, Sweezy, Benenoch
    3. Smith, Marpet, Hawley, Sweezy, Pamphile

Benenoch is a good run blocker who will struggle in pass protection. I've never been a huge Evan Smith fan but he played decent last year, is versatile and has experience.

Demar Dotson's injury is not considered serious and is expected back at practice next week.

Brent Grimes is said to be progressing well with all indications he will be starting Week 1.

We have been lucky so far with no major injuries to key players, which is important for up and coming teams.

Word is the Bills are listening to offers for L. Mccoy. I would ship Dougie Fresh and a 2nd rounder for Mccoy, yesterday. Lets get this done!

Koetter already said that #1 would be the most likely case. He made it clear that they are not interested in moving Marpet away from Center.

Not sure what you were watching, but Sweezy has looked awful so far! You are entitled to your opinion, but I do not get all of the negative criticism towards D. Smith. Young Tackles do not just walk into the league and dominate at LT against the best pass rushers in the word. He is young and has improved each season so far. I would expect more improvement this year. Not to mention that he has not missed a game, which is an underated quality.

I guess it makes sense but I really don't want to give up a 2nd round pick for an almost 30 year old RB. I'm really looking forward to OL, mainly OT, DE and CB in next year's draft. Getting rid of our 2nd would force us to address one or two in free agency.

By Smith I meant Evan Smith not Donovan, I'm a Donovan fan and think he gets a bad rap as well. I just like what I've been seeing in the run game from him. Admittedly I didn't watch every snap Sweezy played so he very well could have gotten beat a lot.

I love the direction of our team. I love the positional star power. I love the depth. I love the minimal key injuries thus far. I love the battles at all positions. I couldnt be more excited for the season to start. The only thing I can think of is I have not heard not one word about our newly re-signed left Defensive End. I know he is a Run Stopping Specialist. But seriously, for what we are paying him, why hasn't William Gholston's name been mentioned even once? Hope he lives up to his contract. With Ayers, Spence, Russell, Smith and Johnson I expect Gholston to step up and be productive.

What do you guys think about the Cleveland game Saturday?

Kizer's first start and we face him for 3 quarters. Does he continue his good preseason or do we bring him back down to earth? I could see it getting rough for him if we can stop the run and force them to pass more than they want to.

Their OL is revamped and should be a good test for our front 7. I'm not sure if they will risk playing Kwon with his tweaked hamstring.

Their defense has talent but is primarily made up of young guys. I expect Jameis and the offense to continue clicking but be better in the red zone.

Point blank, it is the Browns and a rookie QB. We should be looking really good against these guys.

Don't forget for those in the fantasy leagues.

Regular league draft is tomorrow, Friday August 25th at 8:30 PM EST.

Your list of keepers for the Dynasty league is due by Sunday August 27th. You can get then to Quikdraw or myself.

I'm not overly concerned about the matchup. Just hoping we stay healthy and continue to look the way we have on first team. You guys realize that our first team defense has basically given up **** so far this preseason? I would hope we give Evans, Grimes, and Kwon the day off. Lets get to Miami healthy. I expect to see Rogers get a lot of carries in this game, in preparation for starting week 1.

    Bucs likely without
    Mike Evans
    Demar Dotson
    Kwon Alexander
    Gerald McCoy
    Brent Grimes
For the preseason game vs Cleveland

All injuries are minor and if this were a regular season game most or all would be playing.

Yea, I think the only one to keep an eye on is Kwon. Hamstrings are no joke
