Nice to see TC take out Smith. Yeah let's not see what the kid could do in a big spot.

C'mon, it's the kid's third game. That's not how it works.

    TC is a clown

    Don't worry. He's got this.

At least Matz wasn't awful last night, albeit against one of the worst teams in baseball. Let's see how he does against the Yankees next week.

We, as fans, don't have access to the same information the front office does. So it would be irresponsible of us to say.

Agreed. How can we make a value judgment of TC's decision-making process if we don't know how comfortable his underwear was last night?

Feel like I'm beating a dead horse but....

Mike Pelfrey, Dillon Gee, Ollie Perez, Jon Niese, et al were all capable of pitching a strong 5-6 innings every so often. But you could never depend on them to do it start after start. They also had stretches -- just like Matz -- where they looked absoluitely brilliant.

So far, Matz has done nothing to distinguish himself from any of those guys. He's got journeyman written all over him.

I don't know if this is relevant to TC's decision making process, but he was caught sporting a Sisq t-shirt before the game.

Anyone else get the feeling that Nimmo is little more than Conforto-lite?

If he is Conforto-lite, I'll take that in a heartbeat!

    Lol depends on how "lite."

Showed me something tho on how well he goes back for a ball. Very refreshing to see.

The next time Terry makes a move that is not questionable at best will be the first time.

God, I hope you are wrong, but right now there is no real evidence to the contrary.
