    Debut of Yu

It's time. And seeing as how there's no IGT, I figured, why not create a Yu debut thread?
"There is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world. To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly with one another, and to preserve and cherish the pale blue dot, the only home we've ever known.

Passed the eff out and missed Puig's homer...

    2-0 Doyers!

Love that we're making DeGrom work; 81 pitches through 3 innings.

Looks like he's tipping his 4seamer

Just noticed, earlier, he was flapping his glove when throwing a breaking ball.

He's not doing it on the fastball

Well, maybe he just stopped flapping his glove altogether. He didn't do it on that slider either

Darvish is still hitting 95 on the gun in the 7th.

He looked like he broke some of the nervousness over those last three innings

It's only one start, but you kind of get a sense that he's already filled the void left by Greinke's departure.

Orel said this on the broadcast. That's exactly what it felt like. Darvish pitched like everyone had hoped he would. Excellent start. Can't wait to see him make his home debut. Last time he pitched in DS was the world baseball classic in 09 i believe. I think he is going to thrive at DS if tonight's game is any indication of the type of pitcher he will be with us. This team is complete. They just need to stay healthy and prepare for the big stage of October.
