    Ha yea

My biggest dream scenario is that somehow we make enough moves this summer to help put our cap space in position next summer and potentially go after Kawhi AND Klay Thompson.....but I heard Klay might be working on an extension so.......Thats what dreams are for

I was also upset that guys like Donte Divincenzo and Kevin Huerter decided to stay in the draft this year....we can use a guy like Huerter who is 6'7, athletic, great shooter....both were considered 2019 prospects for the longest time too, I was eyeing those guys for our draft pick next year

True. I agree. McCollum will cost you a lot more in a trade because of the much better contract. The reason I threw Wall out as an option is because I think it wouldn't take much to get him in a trade.

    An idea:

Trade Dragic to Denver for Faried and the 14th pick

Then send the 14th pick with Whiteside and Waiters to Portland for CJ McCollum and a filler
Or send the 14th with Whiteside and Waiters to Washington for Bradley Beal and a filler

Faried replaces Whiteside as the 3rd center, and his contract expires next summer
McCollum or Beal replaces Dragic in the starting lineup

I hope ur not trying to take any credit for any of these trade ideas. The Dragic trade is something thatís all over Twitter and Whiteside one is from FanSided. Put down ur sources when you put up these trades please.

Agreed... Whiteside might go in a package for McCollum or Lillard.

No it won't... Portland wants a big man, and its been reported that they would trade Lillard or McCollum or a big man. Pat will go in this direction. Or for a better star player.

Try to remember what Blake & Cuz went for in a trade. You don't have to give up so much for a player like McCollum.

Whiteside is a C level star. No team is trading for him to try and be their 2nd best player, so scrap that Portland idea or make it a 3 team deal.

It's frustrating to hear people still think so highly of him.

Ideal partners are teams like Washington and Milwaukee who have 2+ really good players and are looking for the final piece in the middle. Portland would make the move if they are not including CJ or Lilliard.

Some teams have enough cap space to absorb a big contract in a trade without sending back an equal contract. These 3 trades would clear 30 million in cap space right now, needed to sign LeBron outright as a free agent.

Hassan Whiteside to Dallas for Powell & Finney-Smith

Tyler Johnson to Phoenix for Tyson Chandler

Dion Waiters to Chicago for Paul Zipser

All terrible trades, but it's about clearing the cap space to sign LeBron, while still being able to keep good players around him.

Reported since last year that Portland would trade either guard for a center. So if Pat creates the package that has Whiteside in it, thats more then half the battle. Also it won't take a lot to get a player like Cj, if Portland really wants to trade him.

Lbj already had his chance. He thought he could go back and build a dynasty. He just needs to enjoy his 1 ring with the Cav's.

We all know Pat would have build a team that can take down this GS team if Lbj never left. He cost himself at least 2 more titles.

    False lol

It's a good thought but we don't know that at all

Old Wade n blood clot bosh

LBJ had Kyrie n love both until this year

Still had to come back from down 3-1 just to get 1

Just looking at a common sense approach clearly he's not someone they're desperate to move. Seems they are simply looking for cap relief from the bad deals they have (Turner, Leonard, , etc), and don't want to overpay Nurkic who is an RFA. They don't want to pay repeater luxury taxes.

If CJ has to be moved its with the focus of dumping bad contacts without losing much offense. That's going to be hard and that's likely why no trades have happened. That's also what makes Miami a bad trade partner unless a 3rd team is involved.
