Fister starting over Sale on Thursday?
Doug Fister will start Thursday versus the Blue Jays.
Fister had been slated to take the ball Tuesday, but he was needed during Saturday's 16-inning marathon loss to the Yankees. The righty is likely slated for long relief after Thursday's outing. Chris Sale will be pushed back a day to Friday to get a little extra rest.

Brian Johnson will start Tuesday against the Blue Jays.
Doug Fister had been slated to start that day, but he was needed in an extra-innings game over the weekend. It figures to just be a spot start for Johnson.

We are definitely losing Thursday unless this offense miraculously scores 5+ runs. Fister is horrible and has no business starting on this team. He hasn't been even close to mediocre in the last 3 years

Haha second and third, one out. These bums strike out looking, then swinging. Same old story every game with the bottom of this lineup

Holt catches the popup and Fister's line looks much better and we win.

You can't walk a bunch of people and not expect them to score.

They wouldn't have scored though. Holt catches the popup he made the error on (it's an error even though they didn't score it like one) and the inning is over... those 4 runs don't score.
