Me. They always seem to know when the manager makes a wrong move. Therefore they must know the right move.

You're not saying anyone in the stands should manage. Quite the opposite. Fans aren't smart enough to understand the decision making process, remember?

Yes you would because that's the average intelligence of Met fans according to you.

If Collins Is Not Back Then Who Would Replace Him

Don't care how good TC is - he's probably not the manager next year. Hard to imagine the team not heading in a different time direction in many ways.

So who is a good replacement? I'd say Geren and Lopez are likely candidates.

    Don't worry. He's got this.

I agree, and "X" gets the square.

O.J. Simpson and Terry Collins have the same parole date: October 1.

Lmao....I wanna see blood, guts, gore and veins in the teeth!

I still think David Wright would be a solid choice. Has the respect of all, and you have Scott as bench coach as his advisor. Plus, the Wilpons are paying him. Okay, so you give a few extra bones to manage. DW should be seriously considered.

Look at similar players in Robin Ventura and Ozzie Guillen (won 2005 WS).

Stars rarely make good managers. But if it was something he really wanted to do, in sure he'd be great. Thing is, he already made his money. Guys like Terry Collins, when they were players, did not. His big payday was managing.

So unless he's really had his heart set on managing I don't think he'd be a great candidate
