If Collins Is Not Back Then Who Would Replace Him

    Any realistic names ?

If Scoiscia is not retained would you want him ?

Good question...I have no idea who is available...and even if I did, I'd have no clue what the "scouting report" on any manager candidate would be.

I know nothing of what makes a good manager, I just know it's not Terry (he's not all bad tho)

Hopefully its someone who is a better tactician than Terry Collins. Perhaps even someone who knows how to use a bullpen properly.

I would like to see Lopez get a shot and give either Viola or Abbott the pitching coach position.

    Don't be that guy.

I know it disappoints you because "he's the 2nd best manager in Met's history" but no one is asking for the Mets to hire just anyone. Whether you agree with it or not, there are reasons to replace him as a manager.

I know none of those reasons are acceptable to u because us layman are not smart enough to understand.

I would love to see DW as a bench coach, 1st base coach or 3rd base coach. I don't think I would like to see him be a rookie manager without any other coaching experience. Tee-ball doesn't count.

If we are hiring from within, Lopez is the most logical choice.

If somehow Lopez is deemed not ready for a promotion to the big leagues (like Rosario), then I would consider the following (if they are canned by their current teams): Bochy, Gibbons, Melvin, Hurdle (in no particular order).

I would also consider Yost in the extremely unlikely event that he gets fired by the Royals.

The majority of Mets fans in the stands don't think they can manage a BP better?
