Also, Logan Forsythe has been quietly killing it over the last month

Normally I'd agree with you on strict platoons - and Kiké has had a rough stretch lately - but I'm ok with this one. Kiké is actually really good against lefties and Puig has been atrocious in that are this year.

Strange to see two righthanded hitters in a strict platoon though.

Has ciaban admitted yet that he was wrong about Taylor?

Lol. I'm not holding my breath for that.

The guy is just the kind of scrappy ballplayer I've always enojoyed. Legitimate 5 tool player. Nothing elite - except for maybe his ability to consistently drive the ball without getting under too much - but really good at everything and he hustles his *** off

I would rather see Pederson start against a lefty than see Trayce Thompson out there.

    Future Hall of Shamers:
    (1) B.A.L.C.O. Barroids (2) Mark McJuicer (3) Jose Chem-seco (4) Rafael Palmeiroids (5) Ken Chem-initi (6) Jason Gi-andro (7) Ryan Fraud (8) Muscle Melk (9) Woman-Ram (10) Shammy Sosa (11) Roger Clear-mens (12) A-Roid (13) Ryan HGHoward

I didn't realize the Joc pushed his AVG over 250 now. Poor Kike can't catch a break.

Getting picked off at 2nd with the bases loaded and Bellinger at the plate is beyond stupid.

Jansen has been pumping it up in the high 90's with his 4 seamer a lot more this season.

I think I would prefer not to have players with such bad splits, and I'd generally likely stay away from Trayce too, but I would personally probably use that platoon if I had no other options.

Once they pull the starter, I'd look for the earliest opportunity to switch them out and I'd live with the possibility that JP would face lefties late. Once the starter leaves the game, IMO, all bets are off because you can't predict with too much accuracy who you'll be facing in what situations.

Yeah, but that was a slick, well timed move by the Marlins.

Seager should've been paying some attention to the middle infielders

Dude, the tailing action he had on it today was ridiculous.

He's throwing his cutter harder this season also. A Dodger sweep of dumbshit Donnie and GOT coming back tonight makes it a perfect Sunday.
