Well check the rules for the totals of your team and positions.

Why is the cap so low? Like 40mil less then the actual NFL salary

Well we are only using a 25 man roster compared to 53. I figured the cap would be 125 like the auction was but this is my first redraft so maybe it was just always 115?

I pointed out in the chatango but at first that makes sense, but when you look at NFL rosters then it really doesn't make that much sense. Majority of NFL rosters are comprised of dirt cheap contracts.. for example, the Seahawks have only 15 guys on the roster that make over $2,000,000 (cap hit)... but those 15 guys equate to over $125,000,000 in cap. The 115 # is unrealistic to hit

Even if you took the team with the lowest cap # in the NFL (the Jets), the top 15 guys equate to just under $95,000,000... and that is probably only 2-3 players that I'd consider above the average NFL player.

    The 115 # is unrealistic

That's a fair point. It's too late to change it now so maybe the next time we play the cap can be higher.

Definitely. I'm probably going to go over the cap in this game but whatever

It's not completely unrealistic. I could be wrong, but didn't we try 105 at first for last year, then moved it up to 115?

I don't know what your response was Norm, maybe a bad gif or something. It's still a valid point regardless.

It adds some strategy guys, this isn't that hard. It just means some big money players won't get drafted

This is the only reason I wasn't a huge fan of the cap. Someone who's smart about their cap is going to be gifted a decent but high priced guy later.

Okay, and that's called strategy lol. Isn't that what makes the game fun? You don't have to spend 20M in round 1, but you can and still be fine. Or you can take a huge risk and get a cheaper player early banking on a more expensive guy to be there later. That risk is always there (see Suh).
