Boston would probably like one of our bullpen arms in addition to Frazier.

What else does Boston need that we have?
Frazier alone doesn't bring back much.

    2005 White Sox
    2010 Blackhawks

Contenders always want bullpen help as well. The question is also which prospects of Boston would we want/get?

Zack Burdi Believed To Have Torn UCL
By Jeff Todd | July 14, 2017 at 4:23pm CDT
White Sox pitching prospect Zack Burdi is believed to have suffered a UCL tear that will require Tommy John surgery, Dan Hayes of CSN Chicago first reported on Twitter. While he’ll first receive a second opinion, indications are that he’ll join his brother — Twins prospect Nick Burdi — in the lengthy TJ recovery process.

    FRAZIER TO RED SOX FOR
Bobby Dalbec | ETA: 2019 Position: 3B Age: 22 Bats: R Throws: R Height: 6' 4" Weight: 225 lb. Dalbec offers massive power potential, BLOCKED BY DEVERS..he could hit for a decent average and produce 30 homers per year.

Maybe we add an arm if needed

THE YANKEES STILL NEED A 1ST BASEMAN...NOW THEY NEED ANOTHER INNING EATER..BELIEVE IT OR NOT BUT HOLLANDS NAME CAME UP...

SO Abreu and Holland to Yankees for
Dustin Fowler | Rank: 8 ETA: 2017 Position: OF Age: 22 Bats: L Throws: L Height: 6' 0" Weight: 195 lb. Top 100 Prospects (#96) Fowler makes repeated hard contact with a short, quick left-handed stroke. bat speed, strength and plus speed give him 20-20 upside,

    Miguel Andujar
    | Rank: 9 ETA: 2018 Position: 3B Age: 22 Bats: R Throws: R Height: 6' 0" Weight: 215 lb. Top 10 3B Prospects (#7) a quick right-handed bat that generates impressive raw power

AND THIS WOULD BE TRADING FOR POSITION PLAYERS WE NEED IN OUR SYSTEM...IMAGINE ROBERTS JIMENIZ AND STEVENSON FOR ABOUT 10 YEARS

Robertson and Kahnle to Nationals for

AndrewStevenson | Rank: 5 Team: (AAA) ETA: 2018 Position: OF Age: 23/Stevenson shows top-of-the-order potential from the left side with his knack for quality contact, strong on-base skills and speed that produces plus run times to first base and makes him a threat on the basepaths. Considered to be the best defensive center fielder in college baseball./scouts grading his defensive ability as a 70 on the 20-80 scale.

Jakson Reetz | Rank: 18 ETA: 2019 Position: C Age: 21 Bats: R Throws: R Height: 6' 1" Weight: 195 lb.Reetz is a good athlete with a solid set of tools that could help him stick behind the plate, and the Nationals have been pleased with his progress as a receiver and game-caller. Though still quite raw, he has solid-to-average arm strength and promising catch-and-throw skills.

Edwin Lora | Rank: 27 ETA: 2019 Position: SS Age: 21 Bats: R Throws: R Height: 6' 1" Weight: 150 lb.Lora's plus speed makes him a threat on the basepaths,Lora's wheels also translate at shortstop, where he shows above-average range in all directions as well a strong arm

If I'm giving the Nats both guys, I want one of Kieboom or Soto. Then I want Jesus Luzardo as a 2nd piece.

With the Red Sox and Nationals roster moves is a indication DRob and Frazier will be moved by sometime next week. IMO we will get pitchers. The Red Sox are not going to give up their top farm bats after what we received in the Sale deal. Bet you they wish they kept Travis Shaw.

Melky should be the last to be dealt. Dream on any dream fantasy we could get for Abreu. He isn't going anywhere.

Sources: The Braves made a strong and serious run at Jose Quintana, with an offer that included 20-year-old SS Ozzie Albies.

Not trying to start an argument BUT Abreu Not going anywhere ...WHY?
We traded Sale Quintana and Eaton,, all with great contracts BECAUSE they wouldn't be around when rebuild was done and or we needed them to make the rebuild possible..
Abreu would bring us back decent talent..He will be on the wrong side of 30 when all this talent gets here...He also will get pricey in a few years comes a FA.. ? If you think we would then we can still re-sign him after we trade him and get some value also

Nobody should be untouchable Even someone like Rodon, if we could flip him for someone like Albies from the Braves why not? By the time the Sox are done with this rebuild Rodon will be getting closer to being a FA and we do have a lot of arms behind him.
