    Sounds like it was a side effect of the depression drug he was using. Always found it ironic that one of the side effects for depression medication was suicidal thoughts. Kind of defeats the purpose.

    Shame because you couldn't find me a rock singer the last 25 years that had the vocal range Chris did. He was such an amazing musician and songwriter.

    I don't doubt it because drugs affect everyone differently, but I take Ativan as part of my treatment for my epilepsy and it makes me feel happy, so I find it strange it had quite the opposite effect on him.

    May have been a combination of medications. Benzos are highly addictive and also carry a pretty significant risk of drug interaction. In a lot of accidental overdoses, there is usually some combination including a benzo. It may be that the Ativan interacted with another drug which caused suicidal thoughts. That's probably pretty unfair of me to speculate, but I wish to know more myself.
