Btw I already found the stupid pick of the mocks. saquan Barkley RB Penn State. I'm not saying he's not good but I mean a rb at 6 after getting Fournette. Yikes

A dev QB to workout and overtake Bortles is possible. Prefer to have Bortles be a successful reclamation project and not be ran out of town. I remember when people wanted to run Eli and Coughlin out of NY/NJ before the Super Bowl 42 run.

Well unless bortles steps his game up next year he's gone. 3 real franchise guys with Sam Darnod, Josh Rosen, Josh Allen. Then u get guys like Mason Rudolph, Luke falks, Lamar Jackson, Jake Browning.

Surely if Blake doesn't improve we are looking at top 7 very likely.

    Blake will be fine

But even if he isn't we're still to talented to be really bad

So prolly looking at someone like Lamar Jackson

But I think Bortles is our guy

3 good fa possibilities as well. I see 3 true franchise guys and then there's a drop off but still solid starters.

I love those QBs on that list in general. Personally think Sam Darnold is the best on the list, but that USC QB to NFL QB transition has been rough for many USC guys. Sanchez, Barkley, and David Booty did nothing of note in the NFL. Palmer is the standard and he hasn't done much in the post-season.

Rosen is a question mark because of his recent injuries last year.

Well Darnold will have a tougher time this year without 3 starting oline and no juju.

Also I don't use the school discrimination just Cuz a past player didn't do good from college to pro. Each player is different.

Based on a mock I did(im still debating about posting it) I didn't really project the fa qb market(3 good starting qbs becoming fa). But with it I did get us a stud DE and there was a couple of qbs off that list available

Your talking early 2000s where teams actually had fbs and actually ran the ball more. Both of those teams had Strong Running Games and great defense. Good try tho.

You wanna know why your only as good as your qb. Look at these Chiefs since they traded for Alex smith who is by all definition a Game Manager. Sure he can get you to the playoffs but you won't make noise when your there. Its the reason they picked Mahomes cuz Mahomes has some superstar potential which could help them finally make some noise in the playoffs.

2 qbs who I think will need to sit and develop at this point are Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson(Louisville scheme rarely translates well into nfl when under petrino). Both need work in the pocket.

Trying and doing are 2 different things. When dilfer won his Superbowl that was among the all-time best defenses. Roethlisbergers defenses weren't all -time great.

You say the jags are trying to build that then why did the jags not address The guard positions when our guard play was Zane Beadles bad. This is also a different nfl from roethlisbergers 2nd Superbowl. Its a passing league. You need to have atleast good qb play and obviously Blake's more of a ? Seeing we aren't going to be playing to his strengths of shotgun. McCaffrey would have been a better choice to play and put both running game and qb on the same page.

Wanna know something different between the Steelers defenses and ours. They actually got turnovers which our d seems to have forgotten how to do that.
