I don't think the Capitals defense are as good as most thought, they've got a solid puck moving group but they can't shut down a power house. Luckily they have Holtby.

It's a little hyperbole due to being excited about a very promising young player. Man I didn't think I was going to hurt anyone's feelings. Just trying to drum up a little conversation... sorry I interrupted the hours of silence in the forum lol

IDK if we heard this about Hamilton, nor did the organization from top to bottom rave about him like the do/did McAvoy. No offense to Hamilton, but he just wasn't a Bruins type of player. In his 4 games with Boston, I've seen more out of McAvoy then I ever did while Hamilton was here.

Hamilton did have a really good season. And an absolutely awful playoff.

I think Chicago gets a win tonight. I just can't see them being swept.

Truly an embarrassment. Worst 5 or 7 game performance of all time?

    Habs-Rangers always a battle. Hopefully goes 7.

Can't believe the Hawks. Wow. Gotta be the first time a 1 seed has been swept by an 8.

I wonder what the Chicago locker room was like after the game last night? You've won 3 cups since 2010 and get swept in the first round while only scoring 3 goals. As a GM do you chalk this up as a fluke or do you look to move pieces like Hossa, Seabrook and Anisimov for prospects and slowly rebuild while still having a core?

Btw, another 2 goal lead blown in a game (SJ & EDM). That's the story of the first round.

There's no or. They won a very tough division and their conference as well. Second highest point total in franchise history. They just flat out, for reasons I can't understand, did not show up for this series. They'll move some things around undoubtedly, as they do every summer - but there's no tear down coming here. They'll be back next year, as they've been for a decade, this time properly motivated.
