If the Sox pick let's say at 3 or 4, I'd like the Sox to consider Tristan Casas, a precocious high school kid who looks like he could be ready before some of the better college prospects. He's tall kid with a lot of coordination for his size and what looks like a lot of baseball skill.

38 games left, 3 behind Philly for the first pick. I'd say the Sox are safely in the 1-3 zone for 2018.

It's almost time to change the name of the thread as most draft experts have the sox in the top 3, and Beer not in the top 5

Have you been living in a cave all weekend?

It was players weekend from Friday the 25th to yesterday the 27th.

Every MLB team had new jerseys and players got to choose nicknames for the back.

Nice to see Lopez/Giolito w/ back to back good games.

    Next year will be:

    Rodon
    Giolito
    Lopez
    Shields
    ?

With Kopech possibly coming up around the same time Lopez did this year.

The thought of Rodon, Kopech, Lopez, Giolito, and Dunning/Hansen (or a FA if neither are ready) in 2019 sets well with me.
