Jake Burger hit for the cycle. And he did it within regulation. The White Sox’ first-round pick singled, homered, tripled, walked, and then doubled with one out in the ninth inning. He closed out his game with a bunt single in the 11th inning, giving some credence to the idea that he’s more athletic than he looks.

Evan Skoug also went 2-for-4, but both of his hits were homers.

Yep, I've followed our prospects closer this year than ever before. I'm really pulling for them.

What if we draft Brady Singer in 18, than imagine that potential starting rotation!

Things could change but right now he would be the 1st pick in the draft............And the Philly has that pick,unfortunately...If he repeats or even dominates like last year he will be number ONE!

Then this guy is coming along......

Dane Dunning is a level down from Michael Kopech and Alec Hansen, but he put up a season finale on Sunday that was on par with his fellow pitching prospects.

Dunning threw a seven-inning one-hitter against Salem in the front end of a doubleheader, throwing just 78 pitches even with nine strikeouts. The one measly hit was a measly infield single.

Down on the farm, Eloy Jiménez finished his season with AA Birmingham yesterday with a combined .312 average, 19 HR and 65 RBI.

The top three full-season White Sox affiliates wrapped up their seasons on Monday. The standings aren’t pretty: for the best farm system ever......at least a very good one...

Charlotte Knights: 61-81, fourth out of four in the International League South.

Birmingham Barons: 53-85, worst record in the Southern League.

Winston-Salem Dash: 56-84, worst record in the Carolina League.

Kannapolis and Great Falls play on. The Intimidators open the postseason on Wednesday, and the Voyagers’ regular season runs through Saturday, with a playoff spot possible.
