I'm definitely good with this, let the FO bring in their own guy. I think most of us knew Mackanin wasn't going to last because of his flaws.

I want another Charlie for these young guys. Bring in a guy known for his hitting pedigree.

Who do you guys like to replace Pete?

And while we are at it, who is in the race for Galvis' gold glove? anyone you feel is better?

Can't say I know much about the candidates they will be looking at. If I had to guess, I think they would go with a younger guy who has a chance to grow with some of the young players on the roster.

As far as the gold glove, Brandon Crawford is always in the mix. Seager should probably be in the mix as well.

Lets bring Ruben Amaro Jr back to manage a lot of the guys he drafted.

Galvis' only real case to be the NL Gold Glove is that he's played more innings than Seager and Crawford. They were both better than him defensively on a rate basis and in total value added.

Expect a veteran manager. You don't bring in a new guy when you're ready to turn the corner in a rebuild unless they have a ton of experience - preferably in the postseason. Don't be surprised to see Mike Scioscia rumors.

Wouldn't mind Scoscia because the catcher-turn-managers do manage games well, but Scioscialism is losing in Anaheim and they are getting sick of him so that's that.

Phillies now look likely for the 3rd pick. If the Tigers win today and the Phillies lose, they would have the same record and the tiebreaker would go to the Phillies for the 2nd pick.

I'd like to see the Phillies land John Farrell if he becomes available.
