Last thing the Steelers need is another one trick pony WR with questionable hands. Especially with 5 of the next 7 picks are needs and better players.

We're also not going to take a CB in round 2 that can't play next year.

    24. Raiders: Gareon Conley [CB, OhS]
    56. Raiders: Raekwon McMillan [ILB, OhS]

Im ok with Conley. Would of preferred Cunningham or Baker in the first but dont mind Conley.

Getting McMillian in the 2nd round makes passing on Cunningham in the 1st ok. Pretty rare for a team to draft two players from the same school but the Raiders have done it before.

I was going to go with Fabian Moreau [CB, UCLA] for the Steelers instead, but I didn't have the heart to leave Sidney Jones off the mock after what happened to him.

Obi Melifonwu fits the type of defensive back Zim looks for. Unless they are super high on him I'm not sure they go with a safety that high. I think the Vikings are in a position to go BPA but I think it would be hard to pass on Pat Elflein or Taylor Moton at 48. The o-line got some help in FA but still really needs some work.
    2017 Vikings Draft :
41: Dalvin Cook RB Florida State
70: Pat Elflein C Ohio State
    109: Jaleel Johnson DT Iowa
    120: Ben Gedeon LB Michigan
170: Rodney Adams WR South Florida
    180: Danny Isidora G Miami
201: Bucky Hodges TE Virginia Tech
    219: Stacy Coley WR Miami
    220: Ifeadi Odenigbo DE Northwestern
232: Elijah Lee LB Kansas State
245: Jack Tocho CB N.C. State

You think Pat Elflein can go that high? I was under the impression that Pocic was way ahead of him. No matter where you rank them, this is a piss poor draft for guards and centers, at least as far as quantity (and maybe quality too).

Everything I've been seeing has Elflein as the top rated center and a 2nd/3rd round prospect. I think 48 would be a good spot for him. The Vikings have Joe Berger at center but he's 35. He can move over to RG and Elflein takes over long term.

As for the draft it seems there are about 6 or so quality guards but after that it's slim pickings. If you want a solid guard you better not wait until after the mid 3rd round.

Six? I'm assuming you're counting lineman who played OT in college and project to guard.

Not just tackle projections. I'm thinking:

    Dan Feeney
    Pat Elflein
    Dorian Johnson
    Dion Dawkins
    Isaac Asiata
    Ethan Pocic
    Danny Isidora
    Nico Siragusa

Lamp and Moton are tackles who could be bumped down to guard. Including those 2 that's 10 guards who should go in the first 4 rounds.

Dawkins played tackle at Temple so I should have included him with Lamp and Moton. I believe Pocic played every spot on the LSU line (maybe except LT, not sure) so he has a lot of position flexibility.

How about Tyler Orlosky (C, WVU)? He's currently 117 on my Top 150 board.

I haven't watched any tape on him so I'm not sure where he is going to go. I've read 3rd-4th rounder. Kinda forgot about him since I can't stand WVU lol
