One of the things I love about Mixon is his patience, his hip bending, and he runs behind his pads as good as any RB I've seen. I mean his shoulder's are so low when he makes contact, reminds me of a faster MJD.

I also wonder/hope the Vikings phase out McKinnion. I just don't get the love people have for this guy. He can make people miss, yes, but doesn't do it enough imo. Whats worse is he gets nothing after contact, and he is also injury prone. Since Murray can pass block he could have a 3rd down/short yarage role. Add in a rookie (Mixon, Foreman, McCaffery) and I'm happy.

I'm a huge supporter of Zim and Spielman. I think there both top 5 at what they do. I'm excited to see the Vikings run a offense that isn't centered around Peterson. Without Peterson and Patterson our offense will be much less predictable. Our line now has players that fit the scheme, and they can all run block. In Bradford we have a QB who can throw deep, and has elite accuracy, is tough, and can throw under pressure. This offense is now capable of playing any kind of football we want/need.

I'd like to see us extend Bradford to a 5 year 100M deal. I think it would mean a lot to him to know he is home. Skol
Over his last 7 games PFF gave McKinnon the 9th highest elusive rating. In his 3 years McKinnon has missed 4 games. Played in 42 of 46 possible games. His only injury was a sprained ankle. He's not injury prone.

I know you guys don't like Peterson but I wouldn't get my hopes up too high.. He runs too high and he doesn't have great hands. Good pass blocker and goal line back tho

I think most of us realize that Murray is more of a stop gap type or depth. My hope if we still look at drafting one fairly early in the deep class. I do like that Murray is good at pass blocking and can run/receive out of the shotgun. The one fault of AP is he can't do either.

He said something along the lines of *it never even crossed my mind (wearing 28) because of what A.P. has done for this franchise*

Had the injury last season, could have had to do with his lack of elusiveness.

I think that's the point. No other team in the league has touched him either.

Just read that the Vikings knew about this prior to the signing. Not sure the what the extent of the injury was however. Not saying this changes anything in the draft but again it just goes to show that we need a RB in the draft.

He suffered a ligament injury in his ankle against Denver and played through it. Didn't see which ligament or how severe the injury was. Probably was a small tear.

I liked Murray, and he's still young and I believe he will continue to improve. Once he gets in the open he's got some serious wheels. I wish him luck with you guys.
