    He
He's been 92- 94 this spring but was 94-96 last yr, he has plus plus command and control of all his pitches which make everything he throw grade up a bit. He throws both a 2 and 4 seam fb around the same velo. The 2 seam is a plus pitch with excellent sink and fade on it, be cause of the elite command he can use his FB's as both a contact pitch and a strikeout pitch.

He also throws a CU, CB and SL again all with excellent command. His CU is a true MLB plus plus pitch, grading out at 70 from most scouts. He throws it with almost the same arm speed as he does with his FB''s making it tough for hitters to pick it up early. He has great command of it, was a ton of depth and fade on it, its equally as effective against both LHed and Rhed hitters. Scout ranks it as the best LHed CU in our system.

He throws a high 70's low 80's 12-6 hammer cb that is consistently an above average and at times a plus pith for him. It has alot of very late bite and dive to it.

His Sl is 85-87 he throws with excellent command and control just like all the rest of his pitches and just like the CB it grades as above average and will flash plus.

He can throw all his pitches in any count and all are legit strikeout pitches because of his plus plus command and control. He had an huge yr last yr between AA and AAA Going 14 and 5 with a 2.14 ERA and he had 134 k's to just 45 walks. The only scouting knock on him is that he throw from a very over the top arm slot instead of a 3/4 arm slot but the arm action is very easy and has an shown an extremely repetable delivery.

Why he didn't get huge hype last yr i have no idea other than Adams season and the rest of the big time prospect moves stole most of the headlines. He's MLB ready and is one of the safer bets to perform well at the MLB level right away. His ceiling is more of a mid rotation but being Lhed with his command and control he could be better than that, he's going to be very good and will definitely get a shot at the rotation this yr. Barring injury he'll be in somebody's rotation, hopefully our for a long time

He is done after this season anyway. I can see him sticking around as a lefty specialist or as a long guy with someone else after, or with us on a very cheap deal.

Especially with CC, since has always been a notoriously slow starter. He's definitely just working on things seeing what will work best for him.

I say let him start at SS if Didi is out for a while. Tell him he will be sent down when Didi comes back.

Why not? I read it's probably going to be Wade. How much more does Torres have to show them?
