It's personal. I find headley annoying and I can't wait till he's gone. He's a decent player and a switch hitter which helps this lineup but I would still rather see a 26-27 year old playing third so 20 year old could get onto the field than watch HEadley at third.

How is a 27 year old entering his prime batting .270 with 21 HRs and 70 RBI and earning $7,857,142 who is flexible enough to play 3 infield positions equivalent to a 33 year old who is past his prime batting .253 with 14 HRs and 51 RBI and earning $13 million per year and can only play 3B an equivalent value?

That being said, I'd like to get rid of both of them and go with youth at both positions.

Yankees liked Jordan Montgomery coming into camp & he's survived a few rounds of cuts. Girardi didn't rule out possibility of making roster

    Judge: .265/.359/.859
    Torres: .478/.480/1.523
    Bird: .452/.514/.1.579

    The plan is working.

Its odd how Head's power completely disappeared

Castro will be earning 9.9 this year. That 3 mil is peanuts considering it is easier to find a good 2b than 3b.

    Three #Yankees pitchers combine on a no-hitter in today's 3-0 Grapefruit League win at Detroit: 9.0IP, 0H, 0R, 2BB, 9K.
Masahiro Tanaka (4 1/3 IP), Chasen Shreve (2/3 IP), and Jordan Montgomery (4 IP)

The Yankees are going to give Jordan Montgomery a spring start. There's a reason he's still in camp.

    Wow! A no hitter already!

Remember, we had a bunch of no hitters during the Dynasty Run of 1996-2000!!!

    A good sign folks!

    The good times are returning!

We also have a 6.5 game lead on the RedSox as well!

    16-5 and running away!
