Players that peaked season and fell off the face of the earth

Figured this could be an interesting discussion. Who are some of the guys that had one great year and then never came close to it again?

Sidney Rice had a few midocre years, peaked at 1300 yards, got paid, and then fell off.

Who do you got? I have a feeling Braylon Edwards may be similar but I'm on mobile and can't check

Christian Ponder. He peaked right into the playoffs in around 2012. Then got injured right before and proceeded to suck it up next year and never start another NFL game.

He was playing damn well over the 4 game stretch prior to playoffs.

not sure it's fair to put guys who had bad luck with injuries on this list- Sidney Rice's career was derailed by a hip surgery, ACL tear, and retired young with too many concussions..........would you put Victor Cruz on this list?

Valid point. I was just looking strictly at numbers.

Bears DT Tommie Harris. Injuries might have slowed him down.

Tom Brady: one good year -- or has it been 17?
