Sounds like Taylor went up 3 points then in the offseason.

And that list doesn't make any sense since it lists Mariota at #19 at 74.7 and then Taylor at #20 at 81.5.

81.5 is higher than Mariota, Tannehill, Dalton, Winston, Bradford, Palmer, Rivers, and Roethlisberger on that list. That would make Taylor a pretty good QB if he's better than 2 elite QBs.

    Additional flaws:

    1. It looks back at 2016 instead of ahead to 2017
    2. This disclaimer in the opening paragraph that you clearly didn't read:

This ranking does not directly reflect PFFs current 2016 season grades

Either way, pretty high praise for Taylor in the piece:

"Its been another solid year for Taylor, who continues to take care of the football while sprinkling in some of the prettiest deep passes in the league."

OMG mgj, did you hear that? He's one year removed from a popularity contest vote? Mercy me.

I assume you meant "more credit than that"?

Sure, he's a "pro" twitter user. That doesn't make all of his claims come true.

2 games for the DUI. Another 2 games just for being an idiot. I don't like 4 games and wasn't expecting that many but he deserves it.

Carr higher than Taylor and Alex Smith in both list either way
