I'm interested to see what Rio Ruiz can do. Also interested in seeing if Folty can be consistent at all. Really there are a ton of pieces that are exciting.

Jaime Garcia while not someone flashy for spring, is someone im looking at. He could be really solid or really bad. Also looking at Dustin Peterson and Patrick Weigle as well as Blair and Wisler.

DP is intriguing to me as well. Not this year, but down the road. I just want to see him in action a bit more.

I'm going on vacation next week to Treasure Island and I'm so disappointed that I'll be there a week before the spring training games begin. The stadium is about 30 min away from where I'm staying. Just my luck lol

I see Spring Training is moving like 35mins north of me... I'm going to go broke when that happens.

I read we have 5 minor league players on rosters as well. Anybody know who they are?

Coppy spoke with Shanks. Said he expects to go with an 8 man bullpen and mentioned by name Blaine Boyer, Paco Rodriguez, and AJ Minter.

He also said he's been trying for about 3 months to trade for 2017 draft picks but nobody wants to budge.

Also sounds like we may see Chase backup in CF. Coppy also really praised Flowers.

Kemps came in in good shape. Coppy said "nobody is going to block Albies, when he is ready he'll get an opportunity." Nice.

So if Brandon Phillips falls on his face...we won't have to suffer too badly....unless Albies does the same.

I don't foresee Phillips doing that though. He's actually an upgrade at 2B and has proficiency in the clutch department.

Can we see some games yet...

I know I'm itching for some games to start. Feb. 25 we go against the Blue Jays.

Anybody get to see the game? Looks like it went well with a 7-4 win and Colon giving us 2 solid innings of stuff Colon should do (a few hits, but no runs).

I read Akeem Morris and Luke Jackson looked good.

Mauricio Cabrera hit 100 4 separate times.

    Dustin Peterson had 2 hits.

Danks and Boyer combined to give up 3 runs on 6 hits in 3 innings.
