    LT Anthony Castonzo BS1,000,000 SB0 RB9,000,000

    Offer:8,100,000 SB

    Hi Anthony,

As you know we have recently signed Drew Brees in hopes of competing for a super bowl immediately and push this team as far as it can go. Right now you are the 2nd highest paid player on our team behind Drew Brees and we have no intentions of asking you to drop below 2nd in that regard, but it would be very helpful if you could take a slight paycut for us to guarantee your contract today (ensuring we can keep you here to play with Brees and this team). We can work it out with the press so that the headlines in the Pioneer Press would read something like "Castanzo offers to take cut to help Vikings contend" giving you positive publicity in this as well.

Like we said 8,100,000 guaranteed will still make you our 2nd highest player behind Brees and ahead of Xavier Rhodes (has none guaranteed like you would either). We kept you there to ensure this isn't taken as an insult to you or your level of play, this is just about helping the team be able to improve in every way possible to ensure we don't waste the end of Brees career and miss out on a chance at a Superbowl victory!

    Thanks,

    Vikings FO

    Mr. Jason McCourty,

We would like to thank you for all you've done to help our young team grow the past few years. Last year was a tough year for you, but we blame that on ourselves. We simply did not have the personnel to match other teams pass catchers. This year things will be completely different. We have added Morgan Burnett, Dre kirkpatrick, Dontari Poe to go with Jurrell Casey and Brian Orakpo. We will also be selecting Josh Norman with the 2nd pick in the upcoming draft. We believe that you will be a great fit as a nickel corner who will also see time as our FS. To help us create the best team possible we are going to ask to restructure your deal from 7 mil in BS to 4.5 mil in guaranteed money. We look forward to hearing from you soon.

    Sincerely,

    Titans FO

To do this, we'd like to create as much cap space as possible so we're able to get you all the help you need to get a championship. We know that at this point of your career, you want to be all in on getting your first ring, and we plan on doing all we can to do complete that mission.

We'd like to restructure your contract to:

    Old: BS:$14,000,000 RB:$5,700,000 = $19,700,000
    New: BS: $16,700,000

Hope to hear from you soon,

    -Bills FO
Sorry Mr. Romo, we wanted to edit our restructure because we made a slight error. The New contract would be SB: 16,700,000. NOT Base Salary. So it'd be:

    Old: BS:$14,000,000 RB:$5,700,000 = $19,700,000
    New: SB: $16,700,000

Once again, apologize for the confusion, but we think this is best for the both of us, and it proves we want you for the rest of your career. Thanks,

    Bills FO

    Justin Houston.

KC would like to trade you to Carolina. But to do so we need to guarantee more of your salary.

We'd convert 5 million of your 16,350,000 base salary to SB.

    Would you accept this?

    DeSean Jackson,

DeSean, we have agreed to a trade that will send you to the New York Giants. We know you were excited about being a Packer, but we wouldn't have made this trade if we didn't think there was a way to make it amenable to you. If you agree to go to New York, the Giants have agreed to restructure your contract to give you a raise of $3.7 million guaranteed. Besides the two quarterbacks who signed as free agents this offseason, that would make you the highest paid player in the NFL. This trade only happens with your consent. We believe that such a raise should make the deal acceptable to you, and we know the Giants are thrilled to be adding you to their team. The Giants are going to come into this thread and confirm their agreement to these terms. So, DeSean, do you agree to be traded to New York?

To be clear, DeSean, here is how your salary would break down:

Before trade: $0 BS/$21,000,000 SB (that stays on Green Bay's cap)/$0 RB

After trade: $0 BS/$24,700,000 ($21,000,000 of which stays with Green Bay, $3,700,000 that the Giants add in a restructure)/$0 RB

Hello Mr. Jackson, GM of the New York Giants here. First we want to say how excited we are to add you to our offense. We think you can help us win a Super Bowl. We want to confirm, in writing, that we will in fact give you the $3.7 million raise that Green Bay previously mentioned. We know leaving any team is difficult, especially one you signed with as a free agent, but we hope that giving you that raise shows just how committed we are to making you a New York Football Giant. We love what you add to our team, and truly believe that you can help us win a championship. Of course, being paid $24.7 million doesn't hurt either. You would be making more money next season than all but 23 active wide receivers have made in their entire careers, as seen here -http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/rankings/.../wide-receiver. The trade we are making gives us the best defense in the league along with a great offense with you on it. So DeSean, do you want to be a New York Giant?

    Mr. Orakpo,

GM of the Titans here. First off I would like to thank you for the veteran leadership you have provided us during your tenure hear in Tennessee. We believe that this year we have built a great defense and we are not close to being finished. As it stands your contract is currently BS: 5,950,000 SB: 1,250,000 RB:2,000,000 for a total of $9,200,000. We would like to restructure your deal to a much simpler 8 million dollars in GUARANTEED money. This extra money will help us fill out the rest of our roster. We hope that these terms are pleasing towards you. We hope to hear from you soon and we cannot wait for September!

    Sincerely,

    Titans FO

    Cordy Glenn,

Hey there, Cordy, and welcome to LA. We're excited to have you here, protecting Philip Rivers' blind side. We'd like to convert your salary into a fully guaranteed deal, turning your BS of $9,000,000 and RB of $2,000,000 into a $8,800,000 Signing Bonus. Adding that up to the 3.2M you're receiving from Buffalo, it gets to a nice sum of $12,000,000 guaranteed, and ensures, by our estimations, that you remain the 2nd best paid LT in the league.

    Mr. Talib,

    Current Deal: $11,000,000 BS

Going into the offseason, you were the very first deal we made. It was a match made in heaven for us, as we knew the Broncos needed a QB, and you were the perfect fit for us. We have had many offers for you this offseason after acquiring you, but you still sit a member of the Dallas Cowboys because of how valuable you are to us. However, the contract that we acquired from you had 0 guaranteed money in it for you. We have made many moves this offseason to try to make your defense even better, including acquiring Everson Griffen, Brian Robison, Byron Maxwell, Da'Norris Searcy, and Rashad Johnson. Because of that we are going into the draft a little tight on cap space. We would like to offer to FULLY guarantee you're contract, in exchange for a little cap cut for us to use going into the draft.

    New Offer: $8,000,000 FULLY GUARANTEED.

    Dez,

How's it going? We're happy to have you in Denver. We're so close to finishing our roster, but we need some cap space to make this work.

So here's what we would appreciate:
Currently you are slated to make $13,000,000 from us as base salary, $4,000,000 in signing bonus from the Cowboys. We would like to make it so you have $9,900,000 guaranteed from us, plus the $4,000,000 from the Cowboys. This would make you evenly paid with your teammate Julio Jones.

With you taking this change, we would be able to fill out the defense, finish off the offensive line, and sign all our draft picks.

So all in all $9,900,000 fully guaranteed from us, paying you $13,900,000 total.

Thank you for your time Dez.

Romo accepts. With his injury history, he'll take the guaranteed cash.
