Seriously...not one big signing with all this cap and the Jags are signing quality guys. Hoping we can nab Hightower for a decent price.

The Jags aren't necessarily the golden standard with free agency maneuvering.

Just wondering what you guys think of the pick up?

    Us jags fans are happy

Beast in the run game but the absolute worst player in pass coverage

95% of the time when throw his way it's either caught or a PI on him
From the way I took it today he is gonna be a 1st-2nd down player and come off the field in passing situations.

I wanted Rishard Matthews last year and we got Rishard Matthews.

I wanted Logan Ryan this year and we got Logan Ryan.

    I'm loving Jon Robinson.

I wanted Jonathan Hankins and Brandin Cooks as well.... If you are reading this JR

I've been holding out hope that they give the Saints the 5th overall pick and walk away with the 11th and Cooks. I know it's not likely to happen that way, but maintaining 2 first round picks and grabbing Cooks would be amazing.

I'm thinking a deal gets done that will include draft picks likely moving from both sides. Maybe something like the 5th overall and a 4th round pick for the 11th overall and Cooks. Or something along those lines.

Jon Robinson said that cornerback and wide receiver were the two biggest priorities this offseason. He got the corner and now if he gets a wide receiver it will set up the draft allowing them to take the best players.

With what the market is looking like I think they should push for Hankins as well.

Hell, yes! Great signing. At 10M per year, such a decent contract too.

Lots of good signings and the FO has really been working on improving special teams. I hate we missed on Torrey Smith as he could have been the deep threat we needed for cheap but so far we have been doing great. Any news on the Hightower stuff from a few days ago?

Kuharsky said he's been told to tamp down expectations of Hightower coming to Tennessee, so that sounds pretty bad. Still very much hope we find a way to get a deal done.

Also, they signed back Supernaw after all, and added Eric Weems as a returner. For what it's worth, Cyprien's contract doesn't look bad at all.

Terrance Williams would have been better than Torrey Smith and he actually just re-signed with Dallas 4-year $16 million.... For a speed guy that has averaged 700 yards a season his first 4 years that is a bargain.
