Since this year's draft is deep at DT, i'm sure we can replace Hankins with someone like Caleb Brantley, Montravious Adams or Carlos Watkins and that can happen as early as the 2nd round.

One free agent i'd be looking at is Zach Brown. Exceptional season last year and he ended up being the most productive player at a bargain price(1 year 1.25 million dollar deal). If we don't sign an OT, might as well use the money on Brown. I think if we restructure some contracts and cut JT Thomas and if Harris will end up getting cut(although i would re-do his contract instead), then i can see us signing both a LT and Brown.

I totally agree. We're hoping to strike gold on an OT in round 1-3 anyway, so might as well give up a 2nd for Thomas and get a sure thing.

Then you can just draft BPA. Allows you to grab a sexy player like Howard or go after a stud DT.

Personally I'd trade for Thomas, bring in Fasano at TE, and draft another OT in the first round.

With OBJ/Marshall/Sheperd we really don't need a receiving TE but one that can block, pass protect, and catch a ball or two. We have Tye for TE passing sets, and Jerrell is a project. Fasano would be a huge add in my opinion.

Bennett is the best of both worlds tbh. He does it all. But doubt we can afford him. Tbh trading for Thomas (2nd rounder )and grabbing a guard allowing us To go BPA is ideal

There are 'rumors' Giants are interested in Free Agent(from the ravens)

    NT Brandon Williams

Not sure I understand this, he is looking at 10 million a year.

With a draft deep at the interior dlinemen I especially don't understand this.

    Hopefully it's just a rumor.

Not sure where they're coming up with all this cash from anyway.

Williams and Harrison is just not fair, too dangerous so I doubt it happens

Seriously doubt they would pay all that money for a DT. Ideally we could draft one in round 2. Hopefully we get our line fixed before the draft.

We draft a starting DT in the 2nd round round it's just what we do
    Cofield-Joesph-Hankins
Think marvin Austin was a 2nd rounder too..

I'm more angry that the Colts are about to trade Dwyane Allen to the Pats.
    Pat's trade away there 4th
Colts trade Allen and there 6th .

JR should go in and say here's out fourth give us your 7th ..
Higher 4th round pick and a later pick
Allen can run block and he is a big body red zone threat and young can really build around the youth with odb shep perk allen..

I do not want to cut DRC and get an AJ Bouye or anyone like that.

Allen has played one full season of 16 games since 2012. One.

He is going into his second year of a 4 year contract(29.4 million, 16 guaranteed) with cap hits of 5 million this year, 5 million next year and 7.5 in the last year.

    No thanks.

Ive seen us connected to Williams and Bennett. I dont know where this money is coming from. I am worried they may be about to do something we wont like. Like maybe cut/trade DRC or remove the franchise tag from JPP. I just dont see how we free up enough money. Remember, Jerry is also a FA. They should have already cut Thomas ($4M), and extend Pugh (due $8.8M this year). Unless maybe they are restructuring Eli.

I don't understand why they'd want to invest another big contract for another big, run-stuffing NT. I get that it's their philosophy, basically, to stop the run and force a 3rd & long and then blitz, but it just seems like such a complete waste of cap space to have both Snacks and Williams on roster. I was hoping we'd go for a more traditional 3-tech, but even if they remain keen about adding another big body instead, it's probably ideal to let the Draft cover that, at this point, with all the money already invested in DL and several other needs that would need to be addressed ideally prior to the Draft.

Dwyane allen is better than what we would get in the 4th round, but with the current cap we have and the holes we need to fill i agree not worth the $$
