Not much of a user of the product but Velveeta + a splsh of milk + can of Rotel is amazing.
Can throw a can of your favorite chili instead and it's also a very great dip.

Cream cheese as a base for creaminess is very under used. I've been using it a lot for he style I'm eating right now. Doesn't taste like you're eating cream cheese and really just thickens and creams it up.

Being from Texas, I'm pretty protective of my chili. I'm uncomfortable tarnishing it with cream cheese or beans.

Also not a big fan of cream dips

It's definitely an area thing. Hell, I grew up with beans and potatoes in my chili.

Yeah. I don't mix great chilis with cream cheese. But, I do put a dollop of sour cream in my chilis mostly.

I make this dip with $1.29 can of stagg, dennisons, etc hence the OP

I grew up eating chili with oyster crackers and a peanut butter sandwich. I'll eat it other ways, but that's my go-to for chili.

It's not about just putting cream cheese in chili, it's making a dip.

I'm sure plenty of people in Texas have made chili cheese dip.
