Except he is worse. Rewarded his terrible play with promotion to the first line. Via Denver Post

    Landy-Duchene-Iginla
    Grigorenko-Mackinnon-Mikko
    Rene-Soderberg-Comeau
    Martinsen-Mitchy-Colborne

Weird game against Winnipeg, actually thought they played very well. outshot them 37-21 with the Jets getting 6 of their shots in the first 5 minutes.
Duchene, Landeskog and Iginla were not very good together overall.
Mackinnon and Mikko are a perfect combo with their speed.
    Soderberg-Bourque-Comeau played well together.
    Mitchell-JC-Martinsen was the best line.

Martinsen and Comeau looked great. Zadorov is coming into his own. Gelinas was the best defensemen last night.

Good win against a struggling team.

I think we could be pretty good, and the record doesn't tell the whole story. I wouldn't be too upset with Iginla playing on the first line because it's early, and Bednar is still trying to find the best combinations. Iginla has gotten very old though. He is definitely this years version of Tanguay.

Scoring needs to pick up. Duchene is the only one consistently scoring and Varly has to start playing better. He has been hot and cold this year.

That was a rough one. 3rd line was atrocious.

The only line that performs consistently out there is Mitchell-Martinsen-Colborne

Duchene is single handedly carrying this offense.

Almost out shot Chicago 2:1 and we are losing 4-0. Defense has been terrible but we need goals.

First time in a long time we didn't get dominated by Chicago in Chicago.

Not really sure how I feel/what to do with this team.

Lot of current dead weight right now on this team that isn't producing. Varly, Iginla, Soderberg.

Barrie has been terrible this year.

Still trying to find some offense outside Duchene.

Wow nobody has been in here since November, has the fan base given up? I'm a flyers fan that moved out to Denver so I follow the avs a little bit. Has anybody heard anything on the trade rumors? This team needs a rebuild.

The team has supposedly been in rebuild the past 7 seasons. That's why nobody has been in here since November. The team isn't good and isn't really worth wasting our time on at the moment. The owner stinks and is content putting in as little money as possible while raising ticket prices each year making it harder and harder to see a bad product.

Here's to a better year for the Avalanche! 2017-18 HAS to be better...right?
After last season I would be happy if they were a .500 team.

Only 56 days until Avs hockey!!!
