Jose Fernandez -- Rest in Peace

Jose Fernandez was killed in a boating accident this morning, according to reports out of Miami. He was a very talented young man who had seen a lot of adversity in his life. He will definitely be missed by many.
His life was cut too short. We will never know what he might have become.
Rest in peace, Jose. Condolences and prayers to family and friends.

Doesn't look like there is much activity on this forum but I just want to say as a big Mets fan and a team that's trying to win a wild card position there is nothing more I want tonight than to see the Marlins beat my Mets.

The Marlins showed some real emotion tonight. Coming out with a bang, breaking the game open in the 2nd, and keeping the Mets at bay. Very moving tribute to Jose Fernandez tonight. The Mets showed a great deal of class tonight as well.
    Rest in Peace, Jose.

As a Mets fan, watching Dee Gordon's home run and the emotions that followed to the dugout was one of the more touching events I have ever witnessed at a sporting event. The whole night was very moving.
