    All-Turner Field Team

So Braves are letting fans vote on the all-time team who played at Turner field, figure it would be a fun topic to talk about.

    This would be mine

    C: Javy Lopez
    1B: Freddie Freeman
    2B: Marcus Giles
    SS: Rafael Furcal
    3B: Chipper Jones
    RF: Jason Heyward
    CF: Andruw Jones
    LF: Ryan Klesko (Justin Upton?)
    UP: Martin Prado

    SP: Greg Maddux
    SP: Tom Glavine
    SP: John Smoltz
    SP: Tim Hudson
    SP: Julio Teheran
    CP: Craig Kimbrel

    here's mine

    C: Brian McCann
    1B: Freddie Freeman
    2B: Marcus Giles
    3B: Chipper Jones
    SS: Andrelton Simmons
    LF: Ryan Klesko
    CF: Andruw Jones
    RF: Jason Heyward
    UP: Martin Prado

    SP: Greg Maddux
    SP: Tom Glavine
    SP: John Smoltz
    SP: Tim Hudson
    SP: Julio Teheran
    RP: Craig Kimbrel

Not too much difference but, it was really a toss up between Javy and Brian and Rafael and Andrelton. Rafael had a better bat and was faster but, Simmons was a step above in the play making ability. Javy and Brian are really close to each other, the only reason I went McCann was he had more seasons in Turner.

    RIP Gene Wilder

    This is a tough one:

    C - McCann
    1B - Freeman
    2B - Giles
    3B - Chipper
    SS - Furcal
RF - Heyward (honorable mention Sheff and Jordan)
    CF - A. Jones
LF - Chipper (9.8 wins over two seasons. Only Upton is within 3 wins. Not many good LFs in Turner)
    UT - Prado

    SP:
    Maddux
    Smoltz
    Hudson
    Glavine
    Millwood

    CL - Kimbrel
    SU RHP - Smoltz
    SU LHP - Remlinger

Brian Jordan surprised me a bit. I figured the fan vote would be Heyward but Jordan is deserving. I personally would have gone with Gary Sheffield.

Fans didn't do a bad job, but I think McCann and Millwood should have made it.
