That's what I'm afraid of with the Bulls, I see very little upside with 3 average to good players and the downfall came when the Bulls fired Thibs.
Yeah, the Wolves are better than they have been in 10 years period. That is the bottom line, but people want to focus on a few underlying stats instead of the fact we have improved every year so Im a bit throwed myself, but
that is what its gonna be rown hur.

Wolves starters tired of being tired?

Not that we haven't noticed or commented on it already, but yahoo has a very brief article tying together separate calls from Jimmy Butler, Taj Gibson and now Jeff Teague to give the bench more minutes (and ostensibly to give them more rest).

I will add to that yet another opposing duo of commentators - this time on the Memphis broadcast, commenting that the Wolves looked like they might be fatigued in the 4th quarter and that that was "the 1 issue" Thibs had in Chicago.

    1) Today's NBA players are a bunch of whiny pus***. Even going back a decade ago, 40 mpg was not out of the ordinary.
    2) They do need more rest, because they obviously aren't conditioned well enough to play 40 mpg.

    PSD Grammar Lesson #1:

    a) their - stands for "belonging to them"
    b) there - means "over there" as in location
    c) they're - short for "they are"

I just realized the pick we got was from OKC, and we lost our pick, because we made playoffs. Erm.. Considering we are capped, I don't think this "experience of being in playoffs" is more valuable than a first rounder. It would be much better if we just fell out of playoffs altogether, because, you know, our ceiling is first or second round exit anyway.

Playoffs might be a valuable experience for a young team like Philly, or Boston's young players who got an unexpected leadership role due to Hayward/Kyrie injury. For us, it's just a first round pick wasted. With two consecutive picks, we could've went for a combination of one high risk/high reward player, and one safer pick, or something like that.

Ya we have a slightly lower pick than what we would have if we kept ours.

I generally agree but it is what it is and at least the playoff drought is over. I still am very worried that Thibs is in charge but I guess we give him at least another season to prove he had a plan or something.

I don't see it as being a huge deal.

Whoever we draft, Thibs isn't going to play them for at least three years anyway, if at all.

When I first read this it made me chuckle but then I realized how accurate your statement is and it kind of bummed me out. There are a lot of rookies and 2nd year players that provided a ton of help to their teams this year in the NBA. Thib's stubbornness is one of the things I really don't like about him and why guys like Brad Stevens are so coveted.
