The Wolves are trying to convince Shabazz Muhammad to re-sign with them.

The most the Wolves can offer is the minimum, so they are at a disadvantage compared to a number of other teams. Muhammad is 24 years old and could still get better, but his scoring and playing time have decreased in each of the last two seasons.

If we could get him for the minimum it would be a great get.... not likely but the market is drying up for him. One year deal.....

I would be fine with Shabazz for the minimum for a season. He can play the overpowering small ball 4 in a reserve role. The 2 things with him that annoy me are that he is bad defensively, and that you make this face when he has the ball in space

If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.

I thought he showed a little improvement on D last year, but I agree that his D can be annoying. Also he is a black hole on offense, so when he is off he really hurts the team.

That being said, I would welcome Bazz for the minimum.

I would welcome him for the minimum too. We can use him as a hybrid forward off the bench offensively. Between Tyus, Crawford, Dieng/Gibson (whichever doesn't start), and Bazz, that actually isn't the worst bench, though we need shooting (Belly wake up dude)

Im a big fan of playing 3's at the 4 but I just dont see Bazz as a great candidate for that type of role. Plus the Wolves already have plenty of talent to soak up the minutes at PF better than Shabazz could.

Cant complain about getting him at the minimum though

Not likely but Dwayne Wade may be bought out..... Get for minimum.... Now that would help our rotation and dare I say it would put us in a great position to compete against the top dogs in the west!! Again not likely but would be nice.

If he is bought out, I feel like Cle would be a perfect fit.

Yeah, I would highly prefer a shooter, or 3 and D bench guy, but who is left? Bazz at the 4 pushes either Dieng/Gibson, and even Belly, to the 5. But who is the 3 haha?

Sounds like there is some drama going on between Andrew Wiggins and his about-to-be-former agent Bill Duffy. It is amazing how hard it seemingly has been for Wiggs to sign his name on a max contract.
