    It should be a relatively quiet off-season imo. The team really need to hold on to the 3 players they have bird rights to; Jamal Crawford, Jeff Green and Austin Rivers. Those players aren't exactly perfect fits but the team won't be able to improve if they lose any of them. All they will have is the Mid Level Exception and Bi-Annual Exception. They'll need to add rotation players with those spots so losing any of their bird rights free agents would be a step backward. They do have drafts picks this year! They have the 25th and 33rd picks. I'd like to see them add a couple players who could develop down the line. The team certainly won't be counting on those picks to upgrade the rotation.

    What will the team do with their exceptions? It's a good question. Assuming Crawford, Green and Rivers are re-signed the roster will look something like this;

    PF Griffin/Dawson
    SF Green/Pierce?
    C Jordan
    SG Reddick/Crawford/Wilcox
    PG Paul/Rivers

    The needs seem to be the same every year. SF, backup C, a big that can stretch the floor and a backup PG. Depending on what you think of Jeff Green he fills a SF spot of perhaps the stretch 4. It would depend on what other moves are made but I don't think Doc see's him as the starting SF. Cole Aldrich was a huge help this year as the backup Center. He probably earned himself a raise to about Mid Level Exception value. The Clippers would do well by bringing him back with that money. He may have earned himself even more and would have priced himself out for the Clippers if so. Teams will no doubt crazy will all this new cap room available this summer. Even with all the money available guys will fall through the cracks and the Clippers should be able to fill a hole. I think they will go after a starting SF or backup C with their MLE. Here are guys that could be available at those positions;

    SF; Arron Afflalo, Evan Turner, Loul Deng, Jonas Jerebeko, Gerald Henderson, Courtney Lee

    C; Cole Aldrich, Joakim Noah, Nene, Timofey Mozgov, Jordan Hill, Roy Hibbert

    Believe it or not those are the top end of guys that might be available. There is a good chance a lot of those guys will get $10+ million per year. Look at what Kosta Koufos got last season. This season will be even crazier. I am confident a player of that caliber will be signed for the MLE. A intriguing thought is Rajon Rondo. He was only able to get a 1 year deal for Sacramento last season. He had a good season but was it enough to earn him more than the MLE from his good buddy Doc? A guy I like for the MLE is Jonas Jerebeko. Boston has a Team Option on him but I think they will decline and try to make a big splash this summer. I'm not sure if Jerebeko is athletic enough to start at SF. Luc Richard Mbah a Moute did fairly well in that role last season. Like Jerebeko he is listed as a PF. I wouldn't have thought Mbah a Moute could have gotten the job done last year. Jerebeko certainly brings a lot more to the table offensively.

    The Bi-Annual Exception is a bit more cloudy. The team may elect to not use it and save it for next season. I think if they were to sign someone it would be a player who completely fall through the cracks. Maybe even someone from the list above. A guy I like for that price would be Wesley Johnson back if he is worth more than the minimum. Mbah a Moute back wouldn't hurt either. I really have no idea what their market it is. It could be much higher than the BAE, it could be the minimum for all I know. I would love to get Jerebeko with this money but I think his ability to hit the 3 makes him a lot more valuable.

    Cp3 for Kyrie or Blake for Durant would be the only moves I'd be up for. Otherwise whats the point? Go Kyrie and keep the window alive and hope we break through at some point.

    Blake for Love? any chance your front office would look into something like that since they played better without Blake last year and the punching incident?
