    2016 yearly GT

So this is the yearly GT, like the one we had last year to discuss the the 2016 games.

PS. It seems I'm the new TM so if you have suggestions or pointers I'll be glad to read them.

Franco with a couple of homers

Word on tha streets is that he was trying to hit the ball to opposite field too much, maybe trying to avoid a futuro shift against him.

We really hace nice a trio of good pitchers in Nola, Velasquez and Eickhoff, I think we could trade Morton or Hellickson at mid season, Appel and Thompson could be ready.

Charlie Morton could miss some time, he just injured his knee running to first base on a bunt, it looked ugly.

On top of another poor bunting effort. Such poor use of fundamentals with this team to start.

    Yup, it was awful.

It's bad I wanted to trade him mid season, this could hurt his value if he comes back.

Who takes his spot? Oberholtzer or do they call up Severino?

Looked to me more like a hyperextention. Maybe a few starts if that is it.

Who gets the call up? Morgan? Appel?

I forgot about Morgan, it would be him, he has pitched well and has had a rise in velocity from what I hear.

With the Morton thing it was just a hamstring strain, but I read he could go in the DL, he will have more tests on Monday.

A hamstring pull could take weeks to recover.

They brought up Luis Garcia, which could mean Oberholtzer will take the starts, this leads me to believe that is not that serious, we'll see.

Just giving another reliever while a 5th starter is not needed. Morgan will probably get the call.

Yup, you are right, the BP has had their hands full this series.
Morton was placed in the 15 day DL

This team had a chance to be pesky if they would work out the fundamentals. Limit walks and run bases without looking brain dead.

I still think they are better than we anticipated, I'm happy with the progress, but you are right if we want to contend in the future, that's on the coaches.
