    I know it is possible through marriage and in other limited circumstances and I know that at times in history Jews have been welcome to converts and proselytizing but we're not in that time now and the marriage converts are done mainly for procreation. I also know that the lineal component has come under scrutiny in recent times and many Jewish thinkers believe more in some sort of shared experience - hence probably why proselytizing and converts seem infrequent today.

    Atheism=Satanism?

    I agree that they don't proselytize much... but I think you are understating the amount to which they actually do it.

    It is very easy to become a Jewish convert. And not only thru marriage.

    Well, if we can see what conditions on earth gave rise to life, can we not assume other planets with our same conditions (water, sun, atmosphere, etc) then have a chance to giving rise to life also, creating some sort of probability equation, no matter how minute?

    True. But if we look to the oldest Jewish practices, it was a widely accepted practice.

    I have some studies that suggest a lot of atheists are in self-delusion mode. For example, an atheist will get more nervous talking about god than a theist.

    Everyone knows from birth that God's real, but it takes years, if not decades, of manipulation to convince them to reject it, and even then, deep down inside they still know it's true.

    No you don't. I'd love to hear about this study.

    Self-delusion and religion go hand in hand.

    I'm guessing the studies were published in The International Journal of Stuff I Just Made Up.

    At birth you don't even know you are a person. if there is a self delusion I think you are demonstrating it.

    Why would an atheist believe in Satan?

    Nothing in the definition of the word "ATHEIST" suggests belief in anything. I'm sure atheists believe in something. It's just that whatever those beliefs might be have nothing to do with atheism.

    The sect of satanism 20th is talking about doesn't actually believe in Satan. It's a little like Pastafarians don't actually believe in The Flying Spaghetti Monster.
