Underfire: The Untold Story of Pfc. Tony Vaccaro (2016) - 9.5/10

Amazing documentary/biography of WWII GI who shot over 8,000 photos 70 years ago during his time in Europe fighting. First time pictures have ever been released.

If you are a WW2 historical buff, it's a must see.

    Intimate and engrossing.

Ready Player One - 8/10 Just a fun movie with a lot of references to games and some movies from my childhood, cool soundtrack. One of the most fun movies I have seen in a while. Kind of wished I saw it in 3D and am no fan of 3D.

Prisoners 6/10. Not terrible but man it was pretty boring and not special for a movie I had heard good things about

I hated it too. What's your gripe with it?

I definitely don't feel like it did anything to further his legacy, if anything it tarnished it in my eyes. Just not on the same level as many other biopics.

As far as the movie goes, the acting sucked and the lack of cohesiveness from point A to point B to point C. It felt like it was just mini stories about him being thrown at us. Like here remember this?, how about this? Or letís not forget this!

I canít say it tarnished his legacy for me, but I learned nothing new.

    Sweet Virginia - 7/10

Pulp Fictionesque, but focuses more on people rather plot. Slow-paced with some very violent moments.

At least it was a bit more entertaining and more cohesive.

I can't compare the two since I haven't (and likely) won't watch the 2Pac one but Straight Outta Compton was nothing more than a cheesy, puff piece.
