That's my understanding...it depends on who's available IMO. If Ayton or Doncic were available I would probably say no, but anyone else I would be open to a discussion. Admitly it would be ironic that we traded our lottery pick for Blake to only win it back and trade it again to get rid of him

Mario Hezonja - don't know if we can use the MLE as an offer sheet. ??

    And then ramp it up.

    His per 36 would 16/6/2

His shooting percentage is lower because 44% of his shots came from three, but inside the arc he's at 52.3. harden was 53.1. No comparing the two, just their inside the arc %.

He's athletic, a better shooter than Stanley and at 6'8" could play SF and guard multiple positions. I think Orl would like to see him go, as they have Fournier at SG along with Terrence Ross, Jonathon Simmons at SF and some rookie.

He just might need a change of scenery

    PG. Jackson/Lin
    SG. Kennard/Bullock
    SF. Carroll/Johnson
    PF. Griffin/Ellenson
    C. Drummond/Moreland

Not a bad squad IMO...definitely would need a better backup PF than Ellenson via the MLE, but other than that I think that's a competitive team night in & out which apparently is what Gores want

Not bad at all, Carroll can even play backup 4 for stretches if Ellenson doesn’t improve.

Love the trade. But why does Brooklyn do it? It just adds salary for another year though it does give them a PF - seeing as they don't have one currently listed on their roster.

Would you be willing to throw this year's #42 pick in? Or, and assuming we make the playoffs next season as the 4-6th seed, next year's 1st ?

Memphis gets Blake, 2019 1st rounder
Pistons get Parsons, Rabb (to make salaries work) and 2018 #4 pick.

who would have to be available at #4 for us to do this deal? Jaren Jackson? Doncic?

    Doncic, Jackson, Porter Jr, Bagley?
I’d do that trade for anyone of those

Ok. Who we picking at 42?

Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk 6'8" does need to gain a few pounds at 205

Dude is a lights out shooter.

I did not realize we were 4th last year in 3pt %.

    16th in attempts.

True, definitely benefits Detroit more than Brooklyn... With them planning to buyout Dwight Howard my guess is BKN is shaping up to offer 2 players max deals next off-season. This trade would eliminate that possibility.

Saw a mock today with us taking Shake Milton from SMU. Read a little about him and I'd be cool with that pick. Must've been coached for a minute by Larry Brown since he's a junior right? Projects as a scoring 3 & D guard. If you can land a rotational player in the 2nd round that's success
