I personally have Bryant third behind Russell and Soler, but I expect most ranking systems will have Bryant #1,Russell#4 and Soler somewhere between #8 and 14. If I were to make a top 25 overall, I think I'd make Corey Seager #1. He just has no glaring flaws and a monster offensive ceiling.

I don't see how Russell could be over Bryant

Bryant is a monster hitter who is MLB ready and entering age 23

Russell is great and all, but the bat still has a lot more progress to go. Love him as a spec, up the middle defense that will stay there, with nice power and a nice ceiling. But Bryant is more complete and ready for me. And I always take the accomplished prospect over the ceiling prospect if all other things seem close.

What doesn't Russell do with the bat?

I'll take the .900OPS shortstop with zero gaping holes offensively over the LFer with a 1.000 to 1.100 OPS and a very serious K rate issue. Bryant has the bigger ceiling, but Russell is much more likely to meet his.

    I don't think he is a .900 OPS shortstop

OK, what specifically does he still have to work on in the minors? You said something about him having alot more progress to make - what skills are behind? Hell, how he is less accomplished than Bryant? At 20 he's done with AA and has a .900 career OPS over 1000+ minor league PAs.

I don't even particularly care which one is rated higher, I just don't think you're doing a great job on closing the case of Bryant over Russell.

I didn't even notice it but Manaea had himself a quality minor league debut. Opened in High A, threw 121 innings, K'd 10 per 9...Not bad at all.
