Wish we dumped Buerhle. Maybe even eat half his salary next season. The guy is ****. He started the season off well but now is just a roadblock for the rooks.

2015 if we get a guy like Lester here, we could do some damage.

    Lester
    Dickey
    Stroman
    Norris
    Sanchez

    Happ, Hutch for depth

Why does Buehrle get that vitriol and not Dickey? Buehrle's been the better pitcher in both years they've been here.

..but neither have been as good as was hoped. Then again, I didn't expect much from Buehrle to begin with.

Was anyone hoping for MB to be better than he is? He's been the same guy for pretty much his entire major league career.

What exactly were people hoping for with Buehrle? Sub 4 ERA, on pace to hit the 400 inning mark. Totally get wanting to get out from under that contract, but all things considered he's been pretty terrific.

It should be fun to see the lineups out there this week with all the kids up. If nothing else we have lots of guys to pinch run.

This season and last were pretty much seasons of two halves. He sucked the first two months last year and was good for June-August.

This year he was dominant In April and May and isn't pitching that great.

Personally I only think Dickey is better cus of his knuckler(obviously). When it's on it is a dominant pitch and he seems to get a better feel for the pitch as the season goes on. I'd want dickey over Buerhle in a playoff game cus of Dickeys out pitch. Plus with dickey you are guarnteed 6-7ip 3-4 ER most nights. Not an ace, but a good back rotation pitcher. With MB he's either really good or really bad being extremely streaky. Even he said at the season that in a 30 start season he has 10 good, 10 bad, and 10 average starts. Unfortunately for us he got his good starts out of the way early. . Is his cutter not his best pitch? Plus with age I'm not comfortable throwing a 36 year old with an already slow fastball. And he is earring 19 mill next season. Another 5-6 can get you Lester. An AL east tried and tested ace

typical Dickey.. looks unhittable for 4 hitters then completely loses it

moving him and Buehrle should be the first thing on AA's summer list
