2014 CFB Season/2015 NFL Draft Thread

Now that the CFB season has started I think it is appropriate to put this thread together. Who is your favorite college player that may be under the radar right now?

I'm a huge Tevin Coleman fan. I really think this is the year that breaks the RB trend. I hope the Bears take another RB next year given that Forte is entering a contract season in 2015.

I'm curious to see how those ends from Nebraska and Missouri develop. While we have depth there, I'd love to draft a rotational/3rd DE who's ready to take over RDE for the 2016 season assuming we lose Allen then.

There are gonna be SO many rookie RBs for fantasy football next season. The position might not look so ****ing weak anymore.

I really don't think it's a weak position but rather that the use of RBs in the NFL has made it hard for a guy to become a fantasy stud.

Gregory only played I believe 6 or 7 snaps and then came out with a leg injury, Bo came out and said he is day-day... I think they might rest him this weekend as we have another cupcake game.

There are some decent ILB prospects this year. McKinney, AJ Johnson, Wilson from UGA, and the kid from Miami could all go in the top 50 right now.

This is potentially a good year to grab an OT as well.

I went to UI and I'm a huge UI homer; so don't get me started on UI guys.

Mason Monheim would be someone who would interest me for the Bears.

That's true, but the depth at the position in fantasy is ridiculously shallow. It needs an influx of talented bell cows from the college level and it looks as if this is the year that happens.

Myles jack would be nice to replace Shea I also like randy Gregory a lot from Nebraska could be put in as a Von miller type role. Not to impressed with the safety's in this class landin Collins ain't to bad from Alabama. Also that DT from USC can't reamber his name but I watched him play the other day he's double teamed every play and still was making ton of plays he would be a solid UT for us if he would be there when we pick next year.

Most impressive player I saw, Offensively and Defensively:

Devin Funchess this guy is un-coverable, love his game, looks focused. His size, speed, jump ball ability. Actually reminds me a lot of Marshall, his hands are defiantly his weak point. And could develop in TE/WR hybrid on the inside, another dimension.

Eric Kendricks LB still seems to be a need long term. I really like Kendricks, very smart, always around the ball, great tackler, and a play maker. With all of the defensive talent on UCLA last year, he was the leading tackler.

What do you all have as the Bears top 5 needs right now? I'd go:

    1. Safety- Landon Collins is the best player here.
    2. Offensive Tackle- Cameron Erving or Brandon Scherff would make sense.
    3. LB- I'd target a mid Rd run stuffer.
    4. TE- a quality #2 is needed. Matt Lacosse is my guy.
    5. CB- depth is badly needed.
