Gerrit Cole, RHPIf not for a late rain delay, Lynn may have made a run at his second career complete game on Wednesday. As it was he pitched seven scoreless innings in his seventh start of such length this season. Lynn has a 1.84 ERA since the All-Star break.

Adam Wainwright, RHP
Jeff Locke, LHPWainwright took a loss Friday vs. Philly, allowing four earned runs in six innings, settling down after a four-run third. The veteran said he's made an adjustment that he hopes will fix the issues he's had over his last seven starts.
Locke posted a mystifying win Friday in Milwaukee, walking six -- his most since July 26, 2013 -- yet pitching two-hit ball through six. It was his 13th start of at least six innings while allowing fewer than four hits the last two seasons.
