    Waiver Wire Watch 2014 Edition

I know this could go in some other thread but it's a fun thing to keep and eye on and discuss.

    JC Copeland

    Jamar Chaney (Right wiss?)

A couple of OT who could be a swing guy who I am almost scared to name. Max Starks, Winston Justice.

If we're willing to get a return specialist a shot:

    Here's your guy

    That's just FRESHMAN year.

Returns kicks too. Had 11 per punt last year. 5th for anyone over 20 returns.

Watch that video, you will want to sign him.

Went 11 hundred yards all three seasons at Toledo, 82 recs, 99 recs, and 125 recs. 125.

He even threw for 4 TDs.

    Eric Page please. Thanks Ted.

Hmm, not sure who you're referring to but it might not be on the site I check yet either if it happened recently.

Oh yeah. That's some kind of athlete. I talked about him already, forgot about that.

Wish we had him all damn camp.

The other day Wylie got popped and I guess they cleared him and he didn't have a concussion but the dude has had like 300 of them.

If he did get one, no chance. If not, I love that dude, didn't see he was cut either.

I would love if we gave Page, (or another return specialist) a shot on the roster. It seems like every year we have the same discussion about the 5th or 6th receiver spot. Every year we talk about how Tori Gurley has potential, or Gillett has some upside and so on. Those guys never really seem to amount to much, and don't really see the field anyway, even if they have some skills. It always seems like the guys we put in that role are guys who are incredibly similar to the Nelsons and the Boykins of the world in that they aren't special teamers, but good WRs. So realistically, the only way that 6th WR type sees the field would be with a rash of injuries. If we really want to use a 6th WR spot, wish we'd use it on a guy who offers something that we don't already have on the roster. Plus that way, we wouldn't have to send back PRs who leave me terrified they're going to muff one everytime the ball is punted.

Not that we really need more WRs but, the Panthers released Tavarres King

Jerel Worthy was also cut, so that means we get nothing for the trade

Feel bad for Worthy now. Hopefully he can catch on somewhere.

What in the actual ****? Last I heard he had a great camp and they don't really have WRs.
