I'm interested to see how the defense plays against what is believed to be a high powered offense.

Ben looks terrible right now. Multiple 3rd and shorts and he chucks the ball deep….? Tries to throw it away and tosses a ball in the field high enough to get picked….?

    The hell?

Been amazing up and till this point. But tonight has been very, very bad

Might be needing a new kicker soon… how many is that for Suisham?

Very poor half. Ben didn't play well, but I'm not worried about him. Blount looks better than Bell, and Suisham has missed a few, but hopefully it doesn't carry over to the season.

We also need a new punter. Wing has been bad all 3 weeks thus far.

He will come around. I haven't taken too much notice to him. I also have watched him every week 2 years ago when he was the #1 punter in CFB. Its his first gig in the league.

Heyward-Bey is showing out.. he should be our 5th WR for sure.

and id scratch Bryant on gamedays for him till Bryant shows a little more.

Really like Wesley Johnson as well. Stephen Houston should be on the practice squad.

Overall no real concerns on offense Ben was trying to force it to Wheaton and Miller on plays he shouldn't have and the run game was clearly "distracted". so not worried about that even the play calling wasn't our normal style.

Defense was a little troublesome but it's the Eagles offense they are high powered

I agree, Ben was forcing it to Wheaton a lot, so I am not too worried about that. I hope we were experimenting on defense. They were moving the chains fairly easy... I can deal with Nick Foles killing us, but not Sanchez lol. I think come season this same high powered Eagles team would probably be scoring 17-21 points on us, not 31... which is a good thing.

Our special teams is God awful. If we don't fix that we are in a heap of trouble.

Didn't you know that Sanchez was sleeper mvp this season...seriously though we need to clean some things up. I don't think anything too drastic, just need to perform better all around. That's what preseason is for.

Sanchez isn't that bad of a QB. No one will be able to succeed in the Jets offense. We talked in this forum about it too. I remember Ring agreed with me that Sanchez would be a hell of a backup qb.

For sure. The Jets are just an easy punchline for no reason. In a thread in the main forum, I pointed out that offseason QB rankings are almost always as follows:

1-3: Peyton, Brady, Rodgers in varying order
4: Most recent Super Bowl winner (see: Flacco 2013 offseason)
5-7: Random QB who came out of nowhere to have a great season (Kaepernick 2013 offseason, Foles present, whenever Stafford had his big year)
8-9: QB who didn't completely embarrass himself (big names of the 2012 QB class)
10-15: Some combination of Ben, Rivers, Eli, Romo, Ryan, and Cutler
14-31: Whoever else is starting league-wide
    32: Jets QB.

Not exactly what I wrote but it was something like that. The only two receivers Sanchez ever had with moderate talent were complete headcases, Braylon Edwards and Santonio Holmes. For a year or two he had a great run-blocking line, but pass-blocking was never a guarantee. Sanchez gets nothing but my sympathies, and who knows? Maybe Foles was a one year wonder, he'll get hurt or benched, Sanchez comes in and proves the world wrong. An Alex Smith kind of situation.
