Shazier is having a tremendous first drive. I'm so used to WRs, RBs, QBs just getting the edge on our backers and getting 5-10 extra yards, but not on Shazier. He's so quick. 4 tackles already on this first drive by my count. Defense in general looks very quick, but our DLine is getting handled.

And then Shazier with a ridiculous play on the kickoff. I don't want him on ST though.

10 minutes in and I'm a Shazier believer. Just picked off Manuel covering Chandler down the seam. Great hands, incredibly fast, already has 5 or 6 tackles, I know it's 10 minutes of preseason ball, but you don't look this good, if you aren't this good.

Maybe that Dolphins troll in the draft forum was on to something with Wheaton...still WAY off with the OL, but when did Emmanuel Sanders ever make a sideline play like that?

He'd catch it, but then drop it after he hit the ground.

Truth. Mostly because we ended up winning the game, but I still think Sanders making the catch against Baltimore and then just fumbling it with no defender within 15 yards of him is one of the funnier things I've seen a player on this team do on the field.

As for this game: The clock on the Landry Jones experiment is ticking.

So'oto to Hojo take 2. Howard Jones is making a strong case for the 53.

Landry Jones is just bad. Is this year 2 or 3? If it's year 2 there might be a bit of hope, if it's year 3, he's done.

Finally. A Win in the preseason. Happy that we won. Shazier stole the show, and he looked really good out there. Hope he stays on his grind, humble and healthy. On to Philly!

It still infuriates me the sudden impulse, and urge we had that we had to draft a QB in 2013 and no it couldn't wait another year.
